Kevin Davis

As a lifelong Valley resident, the Foothill communities have always had a very special place in my heart. One of my earliest memories was cresting the hill on Osborne and seeing the Holiday Lake. I have lived in the Foothill areas for more than 30 years.

I have been a lifelong civil servant having begun working for the City of Los Angeles before I could even vote. My nearly four decades of working on behalf of the citizens of Los Angeles includes several years working facilities in the area including the Hansen Dam Aquatic Center and the Hubert Humphrey Aquatic Center. My work as a career lifeguard has enhanced my appreciation for public safety as well as allowed me to provide insights to fellow board members regarding the inner workings of local government.

As the only founding member of the neighborhood council, I consider my institutional knowledge an asset which helps provide an important overview regarding long-term issues affecting our communities. I see my work on the neighborhood council as an extension of my work serving the citizens of Los Angeles.

I was attracted to this when searching for my first home because I love the idea of a community with a rural feel that is still embedded within the City of Los Angeles. Part of my work on the neighborhood health council is motivated by my love of the atmosphere this community provides and my desire to preserve it.

I graduated from California State University Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
