SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT RESTARTS LOCAL PARKING ENFORCEMENT
Residents should be aware that starting April 1 the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) Parking Enforcement Detail will start writing up tickets again for all parking violations.
This includes street sweeping, expired registration, as well as towing vehicles that have been warned via a "Red Tag" or any other vehicle in violation of the parking law of the state of California, and the County of Los Angeles.
During the pandemic, LASD had temporarily suspended giving out citations and related fines, but officers will be back in action this week. To find out more about what parking rules are subject to fines, visit the LASD website at https://lasd.org/lasd-will-resume-parking-enforcement-on-april-1-2021/
It’s a beautiful morning in the Foothills!!!
And your Neighborhood Council has FREE masks for you!
To receive your free mask send an email to [email protected] to arrange for a safe, masked, socially distanced curbside or porch pick-up from a FTDNC Board Member.
The Foothill Trails District Neighborhood Council is an elected body that focuses on city issues specifically in our area (La Tuna Canyon, Shadow Hills and Lake View Terrace.) The people on the Council are your neighbors and want to hear from you about issues and ideas you have for the neighborhood. You can do that by attending the various monthly meetings listed here on this website, or by contacting us via email.
